Petr is a Senior Tunnel Engineer, Design Manager with Dr. Sauer & Partners, an internationally active company specializing in underground infrastructure design, supervision and construction management. Petr initiated the multidisciplinary organisation Think Deep UK based on the excellent work done by ITACUS (International Tunnel and Underground Space Association’s Committee on Underground Space) worldwide to help our cities to become more resilient, sustainable and liveable. He is a member of the British Tunnelling Society (BTS) and ITACUS Steering Board. Petr is a past vice-chair and founder of the International Tunnelling Association Young Members Group, past chair of the BTS Young Members Group and was awarded Young Tunneller of the Year in 2014. He enjoys spending time with his young family, travelling, scuba diving and skiing.
