As cities grow up and out, we are applying our skills to thinking about how urban environments could be better managed through the spaces beneath them. From flood storage to urban transport, retail spaces to public places, we are thinking deep about the urban future of the UK and asking others to do the same.

Promote the importance of sustainable and compatible use of urban underground space and enhance awareness of the value it can generate for cities
Create a three-dimensional spatial planning strategy and define processes for safeguarding spaces underground
To be a facilitator bringing together interested organisations and individuals with a singular campaigning voice
To improve plans for future underground infrastructure and help coordinate a multi-disciplinary approach.
